This DVD contains a collection of vintage train railroad films from the 1940’s
and 1950. It includes footage of the Rock Island Lines including shots of
their high speed “Rocket” freight trains, a complete operational tour of the
New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, operations of the New York Central
Railroad, the Southern Pacific Railroad, how troops are transported using the
train and railroad system and much more.
